The following set of web pages demonstrate some of the features of the
RIBAX framework. The first time you load one of these
demo web pages there will be a delay while the RIBAX JAR file and
support JAR files are downloaded from the Ribax website
(first time download total approx 2MB).
Once you have downloaded these JAR files the first time they will
be cached in your 'Temporary Internet Files' and will not be
downloaded again unless you clear out your 'Temporary Internet Files'.
The RIBAX tool relies on up to date Java Virtual Machine (JVM)
provided by the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version 1.6. If you
are using an older version of a JRE then you will be prompted to
download and install an up to date JRE from the Sun website.
RIBAX supports a pluggable Look And Feel. In this demo we are using the Substance look and feel (http://substance.jvnet.org). In each page in this demo we will explore the various capabilities of the Substance Look and Feel plugin. The Substance library constitues over 1MB of the initial download.
